FAQs

What are your preschool hours?

We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. We offer full-day programs to accommodate working families.

Do you provide meals?

We do not provide meals or snacks. Parents are responsible for sending prepared, ready-to-eat meals and snacks with their children each day, ensuring they meet any dietary guidelines for allergies and nutritional needs.

How do you ensure child safety?

The safety of your child is our top priority. All staff members are CPR certified and undergo thorough background checks. Our facility is equipped with secure entry systems, and we conduct regular safety drills and follow established protocols for emergencies.

What age groups do you serve at One Hope Preschool?

We offer programs for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. Our classes are divided into Infants (6 weeks - walking), Toddlers (walking - 2 years), and Preschool (2 - 5 years).

What curriculum do you use?

We use the Frog Street Curriculum, a comprehensive, research-based program that supports the cognitive, social, and emotional development of young children. Each age group has a tailored curriculum to meet their developmental needs.

How do you communicate with parents?

We use the ProCare app to keep parents updated in real-time. Through the app, you can receive daily updates, photos, and messages from your child’s teacher, as well as track attendance and manage billing.

What is your teacher-to-child ratio?

We maintain low teacher-to-child ratios to ensure that each child receives the individual attention they need. Our ratios comply with or exceed state requirements, varying by age group.

How do you handle allergies and special dietary needs?

One Hope Preschool takes allergies seriously. Classrooms may be designated nut-free or allergen-free if a student has specific dietary restrictions or allergies. We work closely with parents to ensure that all food brought from home adheres to the necessary safety guidelines for allergies.

Do you offer part-time enrollment options?

Yes, we offer both full-time and part-time enrollment options to meet the varying needs of families. In addition to our regular programs, families can sign up for drop-in days, allowing a student to attend early care, after care, or a full day of care on additional days of the week. Drop-in schedules are subject to availability.

What is your policy on sick children?

To ensure the health and safety of all children, we require that children who are ill stay home. If a child becomes sick while at school, we will contact parents immediately for pick-up. Children must be fever-free for 24 hours without medication before returning to school.

How do I enroll my child at One Hope Preschool?

To enroll your child, please contact us to schedule a tour of our facility. You can then complete an enrollment application online or in person. Spaces are limited, so we encourage early enrollment.

What is your approach to discipline?

Our approach to discipline is rooted in positive guidance and redirection. We believe in teaching children appropriate behavior through encouragement and setting clear, consistent boundaries. Physical punishment is never used.

Are parents allowed to enter classrooms?

For the safety and security of all children, parents are not permitted to enter classrooms during the school day. However, we have an open-door policy, and parents are welcome to visit the campus at any point. Additionally, families are encouraged to attend events like Meet the Teacher, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and other special events.

Are you a Christian preschool?

We welcome children of all faiths at One Hope Preschool. While we are faith-based and teach Christian values, we are not affiliated with any religious organization.

What is your tuition rate?

Tuition rates vary depending on the age group and enrollment schedule. Please contact us directly for the most up-to-date information on tuition and fees.
